Kalk & Kreide

Our signature wine. We’d like to see the amount of character this wine has on all human beings. Characterizing our idea of Southern Styria, our region. Refreshing citrus notes, local yellow fruit, elder flower, and black currants. Mineral and straight forward. Makes you long for the next sip.

Territory Wine

Every wine-growing region is unique in terms of its location, altitude and geology. Village wines are an expression of this uniqueness. The grape varieties that come into question for these wines are traditionally linked to the place where they grow. They are the basis for expression and character.

Our Standards

More than 15 years ago we started taking the first steps towards organic farming. We are now in the phase to convert to biodynamics. A logical step for us and a beginning without end. Every year we learn something new, observe nature and get closer to it bit by bit. We see our business as a form of modern circular economy in which wine is part of an overall concept. Partnerships with horse and cattle farmers have just as much space here as the use of the company’s own forest for energy production. Wine as a way of life.
