ZIEREGG Sauvignon Blanc "Grosse STK Lage"

The south-west facing slopes and the limestone soil with marine sediments ensure wines of first-class quality.

The grape picking at this vineyard site is very selective and the maturation takes place in large oak barrels.Typical Sauvignon Blanc aromas like pear, gooseberry and mint on the nose, spicy and aromatic notes on the palate.

The Zieregg Sauvignon Blanc matures for eightteen months in our cellar and is already nice to drink in its youth, but only after two to four years of bottle ageing it is going to develop the typical Zieregg aromas. Ageing potential: fifteen years.
