Arachon T.FX.T

Arachon T.FX.T is a joint venture of the three winemakers I. Szemes, FX. Pichler and M. Tement, situated in Horitschon, a region famous for growing the variety Blaufränkisch.

Arachon is a blend of the varieties Blaufränkisch (50%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Zweigelt (10%). The 2008 vintage is distinguished by a typical peppery spiciness and chocolate notes as well as blackberry and casssis aromas. Soft and pleasant tannins in taste.

Excellent vintage with an ageing potential of fifteen years and more. Recommended with game.
