Terroir wine Sernau Sauvignon Blanc

The south/south-west facing slopes of our single-vineyard Sernau are situated near the wine village Gamlitz. The lime-free gravel soil of this territory, deposited by the river Drau thousands of years ago, enables the roots of the vine to grow rapidly into the water bearing strata.

In addition to rich Sauvignon Blanc aromas the wine reflects the terroir and displays a pronounced mineral note and marked vegetal nuances, such as fennel and dill.
